"I went back to my old stomping grounds yesterday to enjoy some salsa and good Spanish food. It's been quite a while since I've been back, but I used to party in this neighborhood including Willie's and a few other spots back in the day. Upon entering the place I was greeted so warmly it felt like I'd never left. The people were so friendly and happy to see me that I felt right at home. The crowd is a mix of young and old but the old timers enjoy themselves as much as the younger ones. They love to dance. We've been coming here for years, I actually met my husband there. The food is great, steak was very tender and the chops as well. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming, service is always good. The ambiance was great, they had a DJ which played old school salsa. Since it was Valentine's day we enjoyed ourselves. We will always returned to Willie's.

Me and my children and I came to this restaurant trying to enjoy some drinks but, unfortunately we got yelled at by the bartenders because we accidentally used the bar side tables. But we had no clue. The bartenders had a such a rude attitude so we left ending spending 200$ at the cucharita paisa !! Please waste no time and visit this place and don't spend no money at places like this with unprofessional employees!!! Ps: foto at cucharita paisa ;

This place is an old school Puerto Rican restaurant/club in the Westchester Bronx area. As soon as I entered live band playing old time Latin music bought back memories of the songs my mom and dad would listen to. The crowd was amazing like a family environment everyone knew everyone hugs kisses familia vibes. Smiles from everyone made me feel at home -conversation going on all around-dancing all around. I ordered an appetizer (mind you I had already eaten in New Jersey plátano relleno with beef and one of my old time favorite alcapurias with ground beef inside.
