"This has been one of our faves for years, and we have really enjoyed the new menu and ambience since the new owners took over. BUT our past visit, which we decided to take out of town guests, was pretty bad, except for the waiter was nice and the food was very good. We were 15 minutes late for res, which I called an hour ahead to warn them. Although I requested outside on resv, and the rain had just cleared up, they acted put out to seat us outside. They were super busy inside so the hostess said it would actually help them out. It took an extra 20 minutes to move 2 tables together for our group. One table didn 't have an umbrella and the other umbrella was dripping down on our daughter and...

We brought guests visiting for the first time and had the BEST meals with the BEST service! Thank you Alyssa and also Tom the host and hostess and bartenders! We also loved our creek side table! If you are wondering if you should book a reservation, do it! We hope to bring more friends again this week to enjoy another great experience!

Such a gorgeous place!! We noted in the reservation that it was our anniversary, and they gave us the perfect table outside right next to the river. The staff was excellent, the food was tasty (definitely recommend the Baked Brie, it had a delicious jam on top that was so good we got a little sauce container to take it home), and we each got a wine flight and loved it. The meads were especially great. Definitely make a reservation if you want to sit outside!
