"This place is the epitome of a family-run gem. You can really taste the love and care in the food. It definitely deserves a spot on any Memphis food tour that goes beyond just BBQ. While I'm a big fan of burgers, they have a wide range of options, including hot plates, chicken, and a full menu. I used to visit frequently when I worked at the Zoo, but I don’t get out there as often anymore, so I can’t enjoy it as much as I’d like. However, I highly recommend visiting this charming establishment and meeting the wonderful people and talented cooks. You won't be disappointed, and you'll get great value for your money!"

Let me tell you, Yo Mama is fantastic! The prices are amazing, and the soul food is flavorful and authentic. I've heard a lot about this place, and I had to check it out. Just a heads-up, instead of entering the restaurant, you can order through a window on the side, making it feel like a walk-up version of a drive-thru. They accept both cards and cash, and the juices are excellent too!
