"How can it be that I'm writing the first review of this very popular place! I've stayed here many times and eaten in the very pleasant bier garten even more. The hotel is a huge gasthaus I'm not sure how many rooms (75 100 I'd guess) in a couple of wings and annexes. Rooms are clean and fairly basic. But prices are usually about half of downtown Munich and if you just need a place to sleep for a few nights of business it's more than fine. Breakfast is included (usually) and is one of the better breakfast buffets I've had anywhere in Germany. Stayed here before my flight back to the USA. Nice hotel. Ate in the beer garden. Food was delicious. Service friendly. The beer was cold and the big pretzel a 10 . I sure will miss these German pretzels. Breakfast buffet one of the better I had.

I would not have ventured here otherwise ; It's a fabulous hotel and restaurant located in Ismaning and feels like it's been there for decades. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Traditional Bavarian in style with a menu to suit the locale. The waitress we had was very friendly and helpful and prompt. A great feature of these places is the speed at which things arrive at your table.
