"We stayed at Hotel Charlotte for a night after visiting Yosemite. The hotel itself was really charming, with antique furniture and a bit of an 'old western' mood. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was incredibly friendly, who gave us our keys and put us in the room. The room itself was beautiful, and the bathroom had a large bathtub that was a nice touch, and after several days in tents appreciated. We starved when we arrived first, so after we arrived, the first thing we did was to eat. The hotel had a nice dining area back with lighting and outdoor heating lamps. The food was a little expensive, but was really good, and came with generous portions that made more than for them. Since we were hungry, it was worth every penny. We arrived early for dinner, but the outdoor heating lamps were not switched on, but the owner came by and turned us only for us, and our 3 years old son was super enthusiastic about the fire. After dinner, when we returned to our room, the owner knocked at our door and gave us the toys that our son had left on the table at dinner, which was a small note, but also very appreciated. Overall, it was a great stay and would definitely stay here before/after my next trip to Yosemite."
