"I had not been to Pelican's Reef in about 20 years but, always raved about it to my husband. I don't know why it took so long to get back here! The ambience is great! Very fun, and beachy. The staff was fantastic, and friendly. We started off with the lobster bisque and calamari. The bisque was hearty, and creamy, with just a hint of heat. I love how they crumble the crab meat into it, so that you get an abundance of crab in every bite, and not just a nugget here and there. The calamari was super crisp. Blackened Tuna with grilled Asparagus and Boursin Cheese mashed potatoes. Cod Sandwich and onion rings. Food was delicious would have given 5 stars but they were out of everything I wanted to order.

This place was amazing!! We had our weekly lunch with our large family and everyone was happy. Great variety and pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress was very sweet and personable and offered great suggestions! Adding this place in rotation for us.

We've only been here once before years ago, but enjoyed it and wanted to come back for our anniversary. The service was great and very friendly. The clam chowder was great, but the shrimp and onion rings were a little overcooked. Sweet potato fries was my first choice, but they were out, so onion rings it was. Dessert was very good.

"First of all I really like some of their sandwiches and the prices I think are still pretty good. The problem with the store lies in its service and the training of its staff. Often when you do a carryout order they are misspelled they'll give you the wrong sandwich or they're various items missing and while they do make an effort to fix these things if you don't check your order and you drive all the way home you're faced with a dilemma.Secondly I have the Panera app and I have some Paneta gift cards stored on the Panera app; I tried to use one of them but, there appears to be no way that you can access the pin number in order to use the gift card. Now it may be possible but no one at this Panera store knew how to do it which doesn't indicate that they're well trained. That or the app is in dire need of an update. You would also think that the Panera app would store a barcode that they could scan at the register. No! in fact they have to type in the number manually and those numbers are rather small there's no way to enlarge them using the app frankly it's ridiculous.A few easy fixes and this could be a much better place."

"My friend and I had the most wonderful experience in Anderson tonight. We had the waiter who worked the bar on Mondays, and he did perfect tonight, as well as the back of the house staff. My vein was perfectly cooked, my friend never had an empty glass, and he was an amazing interlocutor as well as attentive. Tonight was a very special anniversary, and his zeal to make this evening perfect was appreciated. Very recommended on Monday!"
