"I had not been to Pelican's Reef in about 20 years but, always raved about it to my husband. I don't know why it took so long to get back here! The ambience is great! Very fun, and beachy. The staff was fantastic, and friendly. We started off with the lobster bisque and calamari. The bisque was hearty, and creamy, with just a hint of heat. I love how they crumble the crab meat into it, so that you get an abundance of crab in every bite, and not just a nugget here and there. The calamari was super crisp. This place was amazing!! We had our weekly lunch with our large family and everyone was happy. Great variety and pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress was very sweet and personable and offered great suggestions! Adding this place in rotation for us.

We've only been here once before years ago, but enjoyed it and wanted to come back for our anniversary. The service was great and very friendly. The clam chowder was great, but the shrimp and onion rings were a little overcooked. Sweet potato fries was my first choice, but they were out, so onion rings it was. Dessert was very good.
