Overlooking 1200° Chophouse on St. Pete Beach, however, would be a mistake. This small, carnivorous den of inequity is casually appointed with cowhide-print walls and utilitarian wooden chairs, tables and bar stools built to withstand the restaurant's heavy rotation of hungry locals and tourons. With seating available for only approximately 40-50 people at the bar, indoor and outdoor tables combined, go early or be prepared to wait as reservations are not accepted here."

What a find! Have been vacationing at St Pete beach for 4 years now and finally have a great restaurant to enjoy. Service was great, food was excellent. Will be a staple for our visits here from now on.

Went on our 32 anniversary. Very small place, about 8 tables inside and 3 outside. Good wine list, exceptional steaks cooked perfectly to our specifications. With 4 glasses of wine, dinner rolls, salads, and steak and baked potatoes, the bill was $80.00. I certainly would return. Go early as there's no reservations.

Best mean of the trip... But. Best meal of the trip, however I was caught off guard when we got the bill for the porterhouse for two.... The menu is a bit deceiving unless you read carefully the price is $32.95 per person. They should be clear and just say it's $65.90. Our bill for my family of 3 was $114, and I thought I was only ordering two entrees. Nevertheless the steak was outstanding and I would definitely recommend! Worth every penny.
