"Great food and service. It was highly recommended by a long-time resident who works at Tractor Supply. Never would have found it on my own. It's on a two lane rural road heading south from Groveland. My wife and I both had the prime rib, and fried green tomatoes as appetizer. Both were excellent. The person who recommended the place to me was certainly right about the prime rib. Fantastic flavor! They had a Hunter's Plate on the specials board that included quail and boar. Interesting place. I took a picture of the boar's head mounted on the wall over our table, but the picture includes my wife and she would gore me if I posted it. Loved it! Definitely going back again."

Great service, DELICIOUS food! Truly a hidden gem in groveland. The hunters platter and the fried quail are the best!

This restaurant, about a mile outside Groveland, is a jewel. The food was great. People were great. Pig in the parking lot was friendly (big also). The homemade Pfirsichkobbler is worthy of many return journeys. If you are within 30 miles, make the drive. Get something special. It will be fresh and tasty. GET THE COBBLER!

Visited this quaint little restaurant for the 1st time recently with my family for lunch, the service was impeccable, the owner and staff were friendly, capable and accommodating. The menu has something for everyone from picky eaters like my kids to adventurous eaters like myself, the meals were served and presented well but most importantly all of our dishes were both tasty and flavourful. The owner encouraged us to feed their adorable farm animals, which we did and my children loved it. It was a unique and worthwhile experience, we will definitely return and will highly recommend this restaurant to others!!!
