"Took my best friend for dinner tonight to celebrate her birthday. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Shout out to Luke who was very accommodating and especially to Danielle who couldn’t be nicer! Love her! I’d definitely return. Any kinks were worked out pleasantly and quickly. Danielle is really an asset to Amis with her big smile, friendly attitude and sense of humor. The only recommendation I’d give is to make sure your website actually syncs with Open Table and to be faster while responding to phone calls. Other than that, it was a great experience."

My second dining experience here and it was just as amazing as my first. We got the crispy brussel sprouts and eggplant chips to share, highly recommend. I got the seared salmon for dinner, it was cooked perfectly, and a tangerine dream cocktail, it was beautiful and delish!

One of my favorite restaurants to visit, especially for their wine and cocktail offerings. The food is fresh, and the menu is carefully crafted! The staff is also has made helpful suggestions and pairing recommendations. It was not my first visit, and will not be my last! Truly a hidden gem!

You absolutely can’t go wrong here. The entire menu is thoughtfully constructed, and every little detail, down to the appetizers and the entrees, are beautiful. Definitely try the artichoke, the cacio e Pepe fries (who knew this could be a real thing?! and at least one of the sandwiches they offer. I had the pork shoulder sandwich and it was out of this world! This chef and staff definitely know what they’re doing, and I’d recommend it to anyone in the area!

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
