"How disappointing I really wanted to support this institution. I am from this region Greece was the neighboring country for me, so I had a lot of exposure to culture and food. My husband and I skipped lunch, so we were really hungry for dinner, so we ate, but I was shocked how tender and salty and overcooked and muddy our food was. The waiter brought our wine and food checked for us at the end of dinner and brought our check.i It was our first time there. We noticed that the staff and the hostess have had conversations and chat with other girls, so I think you need to be regular. I don't want to say we won?"

We wanted to find a Greek restaurant in downtown, and it was pretty hard until a neighbor told us about this place. This restaurant is excellent! Rosalie is very pleasant, makes amazing cocktails and knows everyone. Authentic Greek food and apps are the reason why we continue to return to this place.

I ate in Athens Market Taverna, although we always pointed out Mary 's when my office was on the street. We took a walk around Gaslamp to see all the changes since we left. Much has changed, but Mary 's is the same friendly place with excellent food as I remember. Gustavo sits at the main window table and we enjoyed watching our meal and people! Thanks Mary and the staff!!
