"AVOID I had lunch at Basera Bistro. Things started off fine. I opted for the a la carte menu and enjoyed the samosas. The next two courses, dal and tandoori, were not good. The dal was soupy and not tasty. The tandoori was tough; overcooked, requiring chewing and chewing and chewing. What was that about? Was it the prior night's food reheated? During my lunch, the restaurant seated a family (a dad and 3 kids). Only the dad was ordering from Basera. He had purchased takeout pizzas from another restaurant in the neighborhood and brought the pizzas in for them to eat. fun place--very tasty food with good variety on the menu. Liked the fish tikka and the grilled vegetables. Will go back. Funny bar scene too.

food was so good! and portions were large. Next time I will do #3 on spicy level; #4 that I ordered was a little too spicy for me even though I do love spicy. I still enjoyed my spicy dinner but ate lots of rice and drank lots of water.
