"Decided to check out Big Walnut Grill today. Ordered the Hog Stack, it comes with fries. Also ordered some Baked Beans. Pretty big bar and restaurant in the Big Walnut Plaza. Plenty of tvs and tables and booths. My waitress was Lindsey. She was phenomenal. Checked in numerous times. On to the food The Hog Stack was a disaster for me, went to pick it up and the whole bottom was soaked. The pork was flavorless, you could tell the onion straws had been sitting as they weren't warm at all. The fries are frozen seasoned fries which were just okay. Eat there often because our 'group ' meets there. Have yet to have any food experience to write home about . Got the Wednesday 's special today 'roast beef , mashed potatoes, covered with what appeared and tasted like cranberry sauce . Beef was inedible gristle and the sauce cover ruined any chance of the remainder tasting minimally acceptable. Then the bill came with a credit card surcharge 'snuck in ' , a very underhanded way to increase the price by deception . Will try to persuade group to go to an honest establishment with food that can be eaten .

Ok this place has so much on the menu I don 't where to start! However, I know BBQ! I founded Hoggy 's back in the 90 's so have a bit of expertise. That said, Since we closed Hoggy 's a couple of years ago I miss good BBQ but this great place Big Walnut Grill has captured my current affection for great BBQ! It 's food rocks! Somehow they must have found Hoggy 's recipes and made them better! If I can pinpoint one item here, let me say they serve the best brisket ever offered in Ohio bar none! They also have a fabulous cheeseburger with fresh made onion straws. It 's one of my favorite burgers in Central Ohio.
