I am always greeted with friendly, happy employees who really enjoy what they do. Everything in this place makes you feel like you are for a treat. Prices are very affordable and the choices are quite large. My favorite place to eat when I'm in the area.. Very recommended!!

Generous portions, creative menu. The staff is welcoming and provides excellent service. A diverse selection of options for those looking for lighter or heartier fare. A place worth returning to in order to explore more of the menu. They even accommodated my vegan sister-in-law!

My family and I enjoyed a nice meal at the restaurant. However, we were slightly disappointed with the Mikey's Chicken Pot Pie. It seemed to lack chicken, with carrots being the only visible vegetable. It appeared that the other vegetables were mixed into the watery chicken gravy. Despite tasting good, it was the most disappointing pot pie I have ever had. Despite this, my previous positive experience at Black Bear Diner in Shasta with an excellent turkey meal has not deterred me. The server was fantastic and very attentive.
