"I have been a patron of Bobo’s since my undergradate years in Tucson during the late 90’s, and it has never failed to delight me. I just finished reading a ton of on-line reviews for Bobo’s on other websites, and they basically boil down to two camps/kinds of folks: 1) People who know what a greasy spoon is and what it should be, who go for the great grub and community culture—not necessarily a clean or quick experience. You will probably have to wait, things will appear dusty and/or dirty, the kitchen is open and the cooks are lively (fighting, singing, whatever), and it is almost always packed. But whatever you order is bound to be freakin’ fantastic. Two of my favorites the biscuits and...

I have been acting as a patron of Bobo’s for my years in Tucson in the late 1990s, and I have never failed to inspire myself. I have just read a ton of online reviews for Bobos on other sites, and they basically cook up to two camps/types of people: 1) people who know what a fat spoon is and what it should be for the big scarf and community culture – not necessarily a clean or fast experience. You will probably have to wait, things appear dusty and/or dirty, the kitchen is open and the chefs are alive (fighting, sing whatever), and it is almost always packed. But whatever you order is required to be fantastic Freakin’. Two of my favorites the cookies and Gravy and their omelets. Many people...

"We visited Istanbul Mediterranean Cuisine Bar, 2945 E. Speedway Blvd., Tucson AZ 85716 in March 2022. A host greeted us and sat us right away. Food: I had never been there before and I ordered the Doner Wrap that is 80% beef and 20% lamb. The wrap was huge and I could only eat half. It was served with tzatziki sauce, which was very good, but I did not end up putting it on the sandwich since the meat was so moist and flavorful. The sandwich came with a choice of two of sides of; rice, salad or fries. I got the fries and salad. The fries seemed like they were just cooked and the salad was fresh and vibrant with a vinaigrette dressing on it. I would recommend this sandwich plate. My husband ordered the spicy chicken pita that he like very much. He said the pita bread was delicious, soft and seemed freshly made. The chicken was tossed in a sauce and also came with a side of sauce that was quite spicy hot. We also ordered baclava and the chicken lemon soup to go and both were very good. Service: The service was very good and prompt. They served the food quickly. We were in and out within 45 minutes, which is what we like. We did not feel rushed at all. Funny, I asked my husband to request more napkins and the next thing I knew was the waiter brought a stack of napkins. I asked my husband if he had signaled to the waiter, but he said he did not. So apparently, they can read minds there! The layout of the restaurant is larger booths on the right side with tables down the middle and the bar, with stools on the left. There was a part at the back that had a sign “Only for large parties” with multiple tables. Not a big restaurant. The place was very clean and the noise level was low. Parking: There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant, but additional street parking that had plenty of spaces available. The atmosphere felt more adult focused with the bar and there was not any children. The cost was very reasonable I would highly recommend going and we will return."
