"This would have been an Excellent review, if not for the Maitre d'. The food and table service were great and the atmosphere was vibrant. It was our wedding anniversary dinner, planned and booked one month in advance. We were excited as we traveled from Texas to experience Napa Valley and have our dinner at Bouchon. When we checked in, the Maître d' looked around and immediately placed us in the bar area and not the dining room (with table cloths She didn't even ask us if we wanted to wait for a table, which we would have. for lunch, the very fresh, local brote, meat and products. the French brot is delicious. I started with a chilled carrot soup that was spectacular. my daughter enjoyed a nice flat steak while I had the traditional white sausage. the side of the fresh heirsen rounded off the wonderful meal. the attentive staff.

maitre d’ was quite rude. I have better and more expensive restaurants all over the world, but they don't have this job. the restaurant is loud and you have to press to get into your table. the food was average. we had worries soup, diables, escargot, lachs and idaho trout. they are tasteless. I wanted to go to the kitchen and improve my eating. then I became sick at night because there was only too much butter and oil.

we celebrated a special birthday here for lunch. we chose bouchon because we had dimmed here and enjoyed our time here in a very general way. Unfortunately, the second time was not the charm. we had to ask the staff twice to remove our dishes and refill our glasses. the love for detail lacked and if the restaurant is only half full, this is simply not acceptable. for a more positive note that eating was very good, but it means little when they sit at the table, wait for over 10 minutes for their teller to be deleted before someone ask to delete their table. twice.

"I was really looking forward to our visit at Bistro Jeanty but our experience is not one that will take us back there. The cocktails were good and my dinner was good but my husband's steak was brought out raw and it was so chewy that he didn't even end up finishing it. We would have sent it back but our server was never around. Our server was nice but wouldn't look at me, unless I was ordering, but only gave attention to my husband. All specials and other information was spoken directly to him, which was really awkward and uncomfortable for both of us. I get it if you aren't into ladies, but when in service all members of the party should be acknowledged. The other huge bummer was that the hostess had 2 of her friends come in, and seated them at the table next to us. The tables are all very close together, which is fine, until you have the hostess talking to her friends for most of your meal, and her butt is right where you are trying to eat. No one wants to look at a butt and listen to the hostess talk to her friends, instead of doing her job, when you are trying to enjoy a meal. In a town like Yountville we expect great service, and have never been let down until this visit to Bistro Jeanty. We will not be back and definitely do not recommend it."

"Went there for my sisters 50th. She is a chef and we are all food lovers. I went for the food but expected the service to be exceptional. They did not disappoint. They read us immediately as more casual than snooty and treated us accordingly without any compromise to the service it was beyond perfect and everything I imagined probably a once in a lifetime experience but glad I checked it off my bucket list."

"that was our first time in coqueta. that was delicious. we had several tapas plates before we eat the seafood paella. the smoked salmon was spectacular! we were disappointed at the service. over 3 hours for a meal was more than we had negotiated. we sat almost 30 minutes before we quit. Once we finally knocked down a waiter, it took at least another 15 minutes before we got our drinks (but not yet water on the table.) I couldn't believe that the personal wonders about the tables while it is for the guests who try to tie them down. it's like we're not even there. such a disappointment – especially after learning that michael chiarello has the facility. I would have expected more. we enjoyed eating, but we can skip this for the next time because of the unacceptable service."

"we came here to brunch, and they had great service and good food. although a chic establishment, I didn't get the sniffy mood and everyone was friendly. I had a simple Cobb salad with huh, but some were huge. after a dae I was almost tired of chewing bc it was so big. good sign, since most chic places offer very small portions. hubby had the tacos and he said it was okay, but they looked pretty big. the friend had a burger and added the ice; he said it was good. park can be a challenge, but it is not the worst. the only thing I would notice is if they are pressed for time (after wine tasting) let them know the server in advance. I had allocated two hours between brunch and our first wine tasting, but brunch lasted longer than I expected. I thought we were faster, but it took the entire two hours, not bc the server were not attentive, I think this place has the 'relax/chill/enjoy your meal' vibe. I'll be back!"
