"I'm going between Tallahassee and Tampa every few months. I really like to stop in Crystal River for food and stretch break and some shopping opportunities. Good barbecue. The staff is very friendly and beautiful walking around and doing so it was a bit waiting, but not bad I went with my 2 Aunties I had the Bessie's Best Sandwich: Texas Brisket, Melted Cheddar and Texas Sausage. It was delicious. I liked the sausages it had but not too hot. The brisket was ok in any case BBQ sauce. Standing place for a good meal, the bungalow for the burgers is not my favorite, too dry and I think they are also potato. My wife's baked potato was a little too long under the heat lamp, hard skin!

Tried 9 different sauces and I definitely have some favorites. Very attractive place with a rustic feeling. Salad bar buffet, much to choose. I had to go with the whole ribbed frame. Meat fell right off the bone and had a crazy taste.

Excellent service with Erika at the bar. So attentive. Happy Hour Beverages, $3 hose wines, beers, drinks. Large grill plates with sides. I had pulled pork with Fried okra Mac n cheese. My husband had St. Louis-Style ribs with crimped greens of active salad. Excellent selection of sauces. So reasonable. The owner even asked how our service was outside. Great fun place... We'll be back.
