"Like with what happens to many great pupusa places, they got rid of their Salvadoran cook and it shows. This was the worst pupusas I've had in a while, might as well change the sign outside and say it's only Mexican food now. Any Salvadoran can tell this isn't authentic anymore. The Mexican foods are good, the Salvadoran foods tastes like someone trying to imitate. I knew the second the nice lady set down the hot sauce for my food that they were trying to mask the missing flavors. Ps- pupusas aren't eaten with hot sauce. It's a shame really, I used to love this place."

I was there over the weekend with the family... we ate pupusas and we all agreed that they lacked flavor, the sauce was very tasteless and the spicy sauce that we ordered, tasted absolutely like nothing.,

My husband and I love trying different restaurants especially on Sundays. I read reviews of this one and had dinner there on Sunday. It was like coming home to Sunday family dinner. Tamales were incredible my husband ordered the 7 seas soup Made on weekends only was best soup ever . Dined in very homey Owner works just same as her staff .

"Overall: 4.1/5 dine in)Such a cool coffee shop in the Arts District. The staff here is so friendly and fun! They DJ their own music and vibe to it while they work. The music was so good, you could catch me lip singing or tapping along to the beat. They have a water station and wifi so it's a great spot to work. I did for a few hours and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.Iced Miso Caramel Latte $6.50): This is a seasonal drink so I had to try it before it's no longer available. It was very interesting to say the least. Didn't taste like anything I had before. I didn't taste the coffee really but the different components in this drink. You get hints of banana cream foam, miso caramel, and latte flavors randomly and subtlety. The latte isn't sweet and the espresso isn't strong so you don't get that bold coffee taste. Cool to try once but I wouldn't get it again.Truffle Croissant Sandwich $9): I asked them to add veggies only had lettuce) since I needed my fiber but lettuce doesn't go with the sandwich. The sandwich itself was big and filling. I also felt like they had a bunch of different flavor profiles that were good individually but didn't work cohesively. I tasted everything but the truffle-parm though which is supposed to be in the gravy. The egg was runny which was nice. The gravy was good and not salty. My favorite thing about the sandwich was probably the everything croissant. I think it would be really good by itself as well. Similar to the latte, the sandwich was good to try once since it's different but it wasn't savory enough to satisfy my umami taste buds. Wouldn't get it again."
