"I agree with Randy. I had the fresh local roasted red snapper and local fresh fried oysters, a baked potato, and really fresh grilled zucchini and my dining room partner had the Big Dipper Burger (plain and dry with only meat, Cheddar cheese and rolls) and the Mac cheese. He said the Mac cheese was not bad, but hardly better than the one from the box version, but he really enjoyed it. Service was friendly, especially considering that we were in close closing time. The only real area I don't see is her salad bar. It seemed a little less fresh, so we decided not to. Other diners took several trips through the salad bar. Can't go to Coos Bay without a stop at Captains Choice. Chowder is great as well as the cod fish chips

Absolutely amazing food! I got the half and half, which was perfect because I?m super indecisive! I didn?t have to pick between the halibut or red snapper, I got both. Win! My wife got the chowder bread bowl, which she absolutely loved! Well done! It was super busy so we got our order to go, so unfortunately we didn?t get the full dine in experience. There?s always next time! Again, absolutely amazing!
