We decided to order the Family Meal with Ropa Vieja and Pollo A La Plancha, along with Yellow Rice, Black Beans, and Fries for the grandkids. We also ordered Empanadas in Beef, Chicken, and Spinach flavors, as well as Mari-k-tas Plantain Chips. The Plantain Chips arrived first and were hot, crispy, and delicious. I went to this restaurant today with my son for lunch and also got a Cuban sandwich to take home for my wife- hands down the best Cuban sandwiches we've ever had! You can taste the attention to detail put into each one. Excellent! Food: 5/5

This was our first time at this restaurant and we found the atmosphere to be very pleasant and clean. The music was lovely and enjoyable, typical of Cuba. We tried the chicken and beef empanadas, tostones, and Cuban sandwiches and all of it was delicious! We highly recommend this place and it is now our new favorite spot. We can't wait to try other dishes. Congratulations to the staff for the excellent food and service. Thank you!

Looking for a new restaurant on the OPENTABLE website, I find a new restaurant called CUBAN FOODIES. I booked and didn't waste my time, nor my money. The food we served was extremely exquisite. We order Roasted Pork, Tasajo, Black Beans, Yuca Frita, Yellow Rice, White Rice and Sweet Plantains. The best Cuban food we've ever enjoyed in Tampa. I and my wife were very impressed. Without a doubt, this restaurant can teach all Cuban restaurants in Tampa a lesson about how to make a delicious Cuban meal. Best Cuban restaurant in all Tampa area, period.
