"I frequently dine at this restaurant, but today on 11/1/22, the customer service was below par. I spent $34 on oxtails and was disappointed to find that there was no ice or hot sauce provided. Additionally, no apologies or concessions were offered by the staff when I raised the issue. When I questioned why these items were missing, I was told that they are complimentary. I left feeling regretful for leaving an 18% tip, as good service is essential. It is important for the staff to understand the importance of providing quality service to their customers."

Tried Doris' Kitchen while visiting Houston. A group of friends and I went here for lunch and it was delicious. We had a variety of things from oxtails, blackened salmon, cheeseburger, shrimp and all of it was amazing. Their yams and mac HIT and my oxtails were cooked to perfection. My sister had the greens which she said weren't the best and lacked some seasoning. Our meals came with cornbread muffins which were sweet buttery. If you're in Houston I would recommend this spot 8/10.
