I'm not quite sure how to rate this place—it's definitely a love-hate relationship for me. It's one of my top three spots for beef noodle soup, but the owner seems to have dropped the ball. I enjoyed a hotpot dinner tonight during this “fall weather” in Southern California. I arrived just an hour before closing at 11 PM, and although there were only two staff members working, they were busy yet very attentive to all the customers. I ordered the #2 with beef and their signature house milk tea. Overall, it’s a great place to dine in with quick service—a hidden gem! Even though the sign outside still says Rockstar Noodle Bar, the restaurant's actual name is Even Life.
