"Delicious Eatery in Blowing Rock Foggy Rock quickly won me over with its down-to-earth, quirky brand. They 're fans of pop culture and not afraid to show it. (Fun fact: I once called to order a gift card from them and they had the battle music from Undertale as their hold jingle. The menu puts a twist on traditional American dishes, as well as those from around the world. I can 't recommend the Tokyo Fried Brussels enough--the best Brussel sprouts I 've ever had. They 're vegan-friendly and deliciously glazed with in-house hibachi sauce. Every bit is juicy but crispy, with just the right amount of blackened grilled flavor. I also love their salads. Foggy Rock allows for premium salad add-on...

The cranberry margarita was the best margarita I’ve had. We started eating the Brussel sprouts and bang bang shrimp before I took pictures. The salads were great. My husband had the trout and it was good. They were able to seat our party of 7 quickly and our server, Bailey, was great. I wish I lived closer… would definitely be a regular.

Cannot say enough good things about my experience here! The service was great and we got a seat right away! The food was absolutely delicious! I got the honey glazed salmon and it’s the best thing I’ve had from a restaurant in such a long time. The presentation was nice, but the taste was just beyond words. The potatoes and the sauce on the dish were to die for and the salmon was a very satisfying portion. Highly recommend!

Driving here was so scenic, there is a mountain view in the distance. You can eat outside in the cutest little area with a for place, Cafe lights and little tables but we didn't because the weather was sketchy at the time we went. Inside is all wood and the pictures are tvs with beautiful mountain and waterfall scenery on them. The food was mouth watering! We ordered the Croissant with turkey and bacon with their homemade chips. It was soooo good! I just want to go there again so I can have it again lol! Yummy The staff was also friendly and the bathrooms were clean which is always great to hear.

"This place was amazing!!! We were a little overwhelmed at first. We came to the mountains for my wife 's 30th Birthday. She exclaimed that she wanted a nice dinner. We are from the Upstate of SC and don 't usually do high class restaurants. We have small children and it just doesn 't work well. But this weekend, Gramsey took the babies. Our waitress was Jay. SHE WAS FANTASTIC!!! Very personable, and knowledgeable of the menu. She could tell we weren 't use to this caliber of food but she never let us feel as though we were eating out of our league. She gave helpful recommendations and took all the time we needed to explain the fancy items on the menu. We ordered the Mushroom Fondue as an appetizer. It came out very fast and was Soooooooo good!!! My wife doesn 't eat mushrooms, but she really enjoyed it. While we were eating it, the hostess came by to check on us and was so polite. Our food came out and looked like art on a plate. My wife had the Pork Prime Rib and I had the NC Duck Breast. Forgive me for not knowing everything that came with the plates. I do know there were pickled veggies. Hers did have spinach, parmesan polenta and mine had lentils. Everything was delicious. While we were eating, the Chef, Tim, came to our table. Asked us how the food was and wished my wife a happy Birthday. He was extremely nice. Then we ordered dessert. I had the Blackberry Wine Cake and my wife had Creme Brule. These were the best desserts ever. Then a young man with a fantastic handlebar mustache named David came by, wished my wife a Happy Birthday. In fact, several of the staff did. Then when our bill came, Jay, our waitress informed us that the Chef, Tim, wanted to buy my wife 's dessert for her Birthday. It was a wonderful experience. One we never thought we would have had when we first walked in. And the view was so AMAZING!!! A painting only God could make. This place is a 10 out of 10 for sure."
