"I have never had the compulsion to write a review before, as my tolerance level is high, but my experience was inexcusable.I have ordered every birthday cake in my family from this establishment since before the current owners purchased the store from the previous owners. Twice, in this one week, I have called and been told that they couldn't make me a birthday cake for my husband simply by leaving out two ingredients: walnuts and raisins.The first time was understandable--they were closed and weren't able to make me the cake (even though they made an exception and made it for me on a closed day last year. But the second time I called back, I was simply told no and that I didn't understand...

Loved it so much when we lived near by years ago that we made sure to visit when came back. Totally worth it! A Pgh gem!

This is a great place to Eat. I'm a new vegetarian so they have great choices..The place is very clean..The rest rooms are clean. The wait staff are perfect ..The manager was very nice. I don't like msg. He made sure my food was perfect..the food was delicious made with luv..I am very picky..I don't eat out much. But I will be back. Thank sooooooooooooooooo much for the great service

live in the highland park I have to force myself to stay here. so many favorites; the cookies are legendary, the cinnamon rolls are divine, but it is not only limited to a lot of exquisite cakes, cakes and bakes, they will thank their bliss stars when they sell there before the marinated ham and cheese sandwiches (and sorts other breakfast goodies. I can't say enough about this little slice of the sky in the bryant street.
