"I was expecting to be wowed but left disappointed. I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't crowded. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Their beer and cocktail list is great. I ordered the lemongrass meatballs but it had no lemongrass flavor at all. It just tasted like meatballs in a tomato sauce. I then ordered the cauliflower dish which I thought was great. It has great flavor and was nicely prepared. I then ordered a side of the cornbread and black eyed peas. The cornbread had great texture but was under seasoned and the black eyed peas were over cooked and mushy with not a lot of depth of flavor. Went for our 13 year anniversary The food was truly superb! It's easy to tell why she has won so many awards in her life! Definitely a 5 star experience! Highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely amazing, but, that $62 steak lacked seasoning. I thought it would be something out of this world, not I asked for medium, it was close to rare. And, the fans above caused it to become cold Next time, and, there will be a next time, I'm sticking with the sides, and, salads

Unexpectedly delicious! Stopped for an overnight in Paducah on a road trip and decided to give the Freight House a try for dinner with some shareable plates. We were so pleased with our choices! Plate 1 Deviled eggs perfectly prepared, creamy filling Plate 2 Grilled figs with Tempranillo cheese and Serrano ham with a sherry reduction Plate 3 grilled Caesar salad so delicious! Delicious flavors and comfortable relaxed atmosphere!
