"Our party of four held in this fantastic charming restaurant on our trip back from Florida on the way to Kentucky. We saw a sign on the highway and it said the Freight House was a top 8 restaurant in Alabama. I must say I was very happy and pleasantly surprised with the food, staff, decor, location and all the ordinary pictures and antiques throughout the restaurant. We loved the theme. Thank you for a great experience."

My wife and I drove the 30 minutes from Huntsville to check this place. It's funny, charming and unique. We had chicken tits and Hamburg steak with green beans, potatoes, roasted Okra and Mac and cheese. Everything was perfect. Great comfort food, and the fried pimple chips are to die. Our waitress, Laurie N treated us like a license. Enjoy the food and the atmosphere.

Phenomenal upscale culinary experience in a unique historical location. My steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, and the service was phenomenal! I took my three sons who enjoyed the historic railway station atmosphere together with the artifacts of the past. We had an unforgettable dinner they won't forget soon.
