"My son and I were on a quick trip to DC, and our last meal before leaving the next day was at Froggy Bottom. It was hands down, BY FAR the best meal we had our entire trip in DC. If we had discovered Froggy Bottom when we'd first arrived, we would have visited several times. The first thing my son told my other kids when we got home was about how much we enjoyed our dinner at FB. The owner was there during our dinner, and she was so incredibly sweet. My son is a pretty picky eater, but I convinced him to try my spring roll. He loved it so much that he refused to give the rest of it back. Our server was excellent. We are already planning another trip to DC, and we will certainly be visiting...

Variety and quality of food was incredible! We had a great time visiting with the owners while we waited for our food. Service was kind of slow, but they were brand new and she was trying hard! Overall a great experience and we'll be back.

Unexpected and great place, an odd combination of Vietnamese fair and pub food...everything was delicious. They had a private event when we went but we were able to sit outside, we got Cobb salad, pho and butter pasta (for our little guy). Service was awesome and food was good and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

"incredibly disappointed! first we have this restaurant for a birthday dinner on other options based on their menu, but once we were there, the menu was not what they have on their website. specific entrees that drag us to aragosta were not at all in the menu. I know the website state menu items can change, they will react with the nationwide lack of products it is difficult to get deliveries, but seriously if their printed menus are up to date their online menu should also be because guess what? there is no printing involved! the height of the wee that was available, again, weeping on the online menu were not on the printed weeping list, mediocre was best still the brandup was extreme. Thirdly, the time we waited for our food was unacceptable and when it arrived, it was cooked cold. the cabernet sauce with the chateabriand tasted no different than a glass shop bought brown engraving the duck, ordered medium rare, but served almost medium-heavy cold. the filet mignon was boiled on request, but hardly warm the Bernaise sauce tasted just like the packed powder mixture that it received in food business. nothing special or unique. next missing the service. our server apologised for the time it needed to get our wein later our meal times, and said that one of their server had to leave unexpectedly due to disease, but there were other support so that our water should have been refilled several times, but we had to ask for fillings they would help supply food before it became cold. all dinge considered the price we paid over $200 was not worth what we have the over 4 star rating is unnoticed. because we were not the only two in our party, we decided not to express our disappointment complaint at that time."
