"It is cute, but the food, beverage and service just doesn't cut it. The coffee is mediocre and is served in the smallest cup possible. It is gone fast and the server doesn't come back until breakfast is over. The best thing we ate were the pastries they buy from A&J King. We were all surprised there is no French toast available. Also, no specials. The pancakes were dense and nothing special. The tostada dish was quite bad. It is an awful imbalance of sweet and sour. The eggs were ice cold on top from sitting in the salsa too long and a puddle of water at the bottom. Waitress never came by to see if it was good. It was obvious that our plates were full when she brought the check. Never asked...

It is a wonderful place to eat and have cocktails. The revolving menu includes whatever the restaurant got from local farms. I always get the cod. It never disappoints.

Had my bridal shower at Grove in July! It was in the back function room which was great for about 30 people. The room was so bright and clean and looked absolutely beautiful decorated! Ali the coordinator did a great job helping my mother plan the shower and make sure the day ran smoothly! The food was amazing!!! Guests are still talking about the avocado toast 2 months later. Would highly recommend Grove for a function!

We used the Grove at Briar Barn Inn for my son's rehearsal dinner. Overall, the experience was exceptional from the initial phone call, through reserving the space, through working with the event planner, Allie, for all the meal options, including special dietary requests. The service was great and communication the evening of the event was flawless. Then, of course, was the food. Everyone raved about their selection....most people chose the grilled rib eye steak or the scallops....but all the selections were well received by my guests. Thanks very much and I look forward to visiting again soon.

"I will start with the fact that their food is cooked and presented really, really well. I 'd encourage anyone to try Fox Creek. That being said, after ordering here for lunch a few times and finally sitting in for a late lunch, it 's fine . We were promptly greeted and sat ???? our server, Jimmy was kind and enthusiastic. It was hard to nail down the vibe of the place, but overall it was warm and welcoming. A low pour glass of Oyster Bay was $10 when the entire bottle retails for $12-$13. Our app of buffalo tots and chicken was probably the best part of the meal. While not actually spicy, there was a solid effort on coating. My husband ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and I ordered the fish tacos. FAIL on both. The chicken sandwich was a perfectly cooked and I mean perfectly cooked chicken breast on top of a well toasted brioche bun with fixings. The only thing missing was the hot . It wasn 't dipped in any type of sauce. It was a flat out not hot chicken sandwich. Still delicious, but not what was ordered/met expectations. Instead of tacos, I was met with a haddock sandwich. Not the end of the world at all. Except I didn 't want the roll, and I wanted the sirracha sauce. I fully admit I accepted the sandwich because it was somewhat close to what I wanted and I didn 't want to wait for a new meal. I ate the fish and skipped everything else....for $18. Our bill without tip came to $72. I can appreciate inflation, I can appreciate that mistakes happen we are all Human! but I 'm not over or under whelmed ...just whelmed."
