"overall only average bbq. not what I expected from the “Flavor Stadtmann”. the brisket had a nice smoked taste, but it lacked salt and pfeffer. it was also near dry. prime briskets are in the lawful. I also don't think they spend a lot of time to cut briskets. I had a thick layer of fat on mine that never do and succulent. I saw lazy and sloppy. the pulled pork was missing to season again, but had a nice smokey taste and bordered on the dry side. I didn't know you could dry a pig dog. I added some of his signature sauce and it helped. the sauce was a bit vinegary and had no trace of bourbon taste for a soak as bourbon and brown sugar sauce. I still liked it. the turkey was pretty good, but...

we ordered the truthahn and pulled pork, both were best in average. the baked beans were under the par, they could have opened a dose of bushs and it would have been better. the beer is too expensive. that is a tourist trap.

I was in 3 different guy for food restaurants and loved them up to this. I was a little hesitant to read the reviews, but thought I would try anyway. believe the reviews. best is eating only meh! definitiw not expected the quality! there are no prices except for the per 1/2 lb. the staff behind the counter was very nice. the ruck an der bar was very rude and inefficient. the pulled pork sandwich and a mac n cheese and it was over $20.00 the bungalow is even cold out of the pack. Not if that was not bad enough, but later in the night I broke and splashed like a crippled coon! thank you guy! this place is a embarrassment to their name!

"First let me say the atmosphere is amazing, although a little loud, but in an exciting sort of way, not in a can 't hear your conversation sort of way! Our server, Christian, was amazing! He is absolutely one of the best in the business! He was knowledgable about the menu, the history of the building, bourbon and wine and more! Now on to the food! The crab cake appetizer was the very best we had ever eaten! It was pure crab with just enough bread crumbs on the outside to hold it together! Just big hunks of crab! Yum! We had heard so many times that Repeal had the best steaks in the city so we had to check it out. I am sad to say we do not agree! My filet was overcooked and actually charred on one side even though I ask for it to be medium well (a little pink). My husbands steak was under cooked even though he ask for medium well also. Yes, we could have sent them back, but unless something is inedible, we rarely do. We were just disappointed more than anything, steaks were still very edible and good, just not great! The $20 twice baked potato was not worth $20 even though it did have slices of truffle on top and truffle oil as an ingredient. The Caesar salad was a disappointment! The addition of white anchovies was different but did not elevate the salad in our opinion. The bread pudding was amazing! I highly recommend! Oh, the cocktails were subpar! I know this sounds like a total tear down of Repeal, but it is not! I think we had too high expectations and were just let down by our experience considering the price! So, with all that said, would I go back? Yes! I would but would chose very different menu items than this time. And I would probably skip cocktails and go for wine instead."
