"My hubby and I were visiting Murphys today and wanted to stop for a bite to eat. We came across this place called Gypsy BBQ and decided to give it a try. To start, Everyone working there was really nice and friendly , that's always a plus. So our first impression upon entering was great. I ordered the tri tip and my husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich. My tri tip came with coleslaw and baked beans which I substituted with potato salad. To drink I had hibiscus lemonade...yum! We stumbled upon this restaurant, Murphy's, while waiting for our time slot at Mercer Caverns. It turned out to be a great BBQ place with perfectly spiced meat. The portions were generous - my partner got a pound of pulled pork and we had enough food for lunch and dinner. The Mac and cheese was a hit with our children and there was still plenty left over. The mac and cheese was amazing! I also tried the tangy coleslaw, which I usually don't like, but this was the best I've ever had.
