"I would like them to add the side of full Thai spice in the oil that I request each time instead of an eye dropper of the spice. Food is the best but living in Thailand for a while I just prefer that extra spice Thai hot)!"

The food is always tasty! I only wish they would add a little more curry to the dish to cover the rice and other ingredients.

Pad Thai was really good. Generously sized portion. The sushi came without the spicy mayo it was supposed to have on it so that was dry and bland. And no utensils.

"Ortygia is a work of love in the form of Chef Gaetano's passion for authentic Sicilian cooking, beautiful and artistically executed in a cozy, funky, and turned down to the earth 'Old Florida' Cottage in the 'Village of the Arts' neighborhood just easily occupied from the beaten path of bustling, downtown Bradenton, Florida. The menu is unique and variable and has Sicilian specialties with the Greek, French and North African influences of Gaetano, which blend into an exquisite culinary experience. The interior dining rooms are small and intimate, and not without any sense that you have prepared 've in nonna's kitchen back to the old country with the divine earthy aromas of food lovingly by hand in a small kitchen and even some occasional colorful banters as boss Gaetano, like the captain of a small, lively ship, conduct operations and interact with its guests in a way to a really charming jersey. The staff of Ortygia is also attentive and personal, catering for every need. The guests can feel as if they had become good friends with their hosts, and usually a little Italian they picked up on their way and soon back. On weekends you can treat live music by local artists, and weather permits, courtyard seats are also very extended Ortygia seating capacity. The parking is convenient and convenient and the dining area is accessible. In the season Ortygia is a busy place, and reservations well in advance are strongly suggested. Do not miss this jewel of a culinary experience in the Old World!"
