"this restaurant is the whole package. fantastic eating. the bourbon bacon appetizer was a big hit. absolutely loved the garnels and grits. the children had chicken strips and mac and cheese. I've never seen them eat so much. I tried a piece of chicken, it was perfectly cubed, moist and crisp. oh and dessert. They have their own bakery. my son didn't like pfirsiche before, and now he's hanging on peach. I highly recommend this restaurant for a family dinner or a romantic night oit."

This was our second visit to the restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. We ordered the short rib, the cured meat platter, and the peach dessert, and they were all delicious! Our server, Brian, provided exceptional service and the manager, Tyler, checked on us several times. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Every year, my family visits Myrtle Beach and we always make summer reservations at Hook and Barrel. The service is outstanding, the food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is a perfect mix of cozy, expansive, and beautiful. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. It's definitely worth the cost. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as there is usually a long wait. Plan ahead and you won't be disappointed!

We decided to try The Hook and Barrel after reading reviews and we were not let down. The location was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We tried the bourbon maple bacon appetizer and it was amazing. I ordered the crabcake and my husband got the braided bark ribs short, both were fantastic choices. For dessert, we shared the cream crimp. We will definitely be returning to The Hook and Barrel next time we are in Myrtle Beach.
