"We sat outside this beautiful place on the planet Earth. The Rhine and the whole action on and off are right in front of you. The food was great. The Sauerbraten (Roast) is the way here. Unbelievable taste and so delicate! The red cabbage, oh man, I could have eaten it forever! The other meals were also great, sausages, oh yes, the Stroganoff so amazing! Drinks, sides, all were perfect. Also the prices were good, even if this is a popular stop on the Rhine River boat trips. 81 € for all beers/drinks, Entrees and Desserts for six people, great value! Then the feared I eat in Germany tax 19%, so our total was 98,80 € still an incredible value for this setting and this food. Oh, yes, Desserts....

Good food. Extremely rude service. A tourist trap. Doesn't accept cards and has challenged the most sensitive Ally head waiter I met in many years! Avoid it here at all costs!

A beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor areas that offers excellent beer and wine along with all traditional local dishes. I had this run and it was excellent. Fantastic Rhine river views make the outdoor café seating a wonderful option in beautiful weather.

Sat on a dirty table complete with full ashtray. At some point, she was cleaned and easily dusted. Ten minutes later, no waiter had seen. No control over customers come and go. (Each place has also called entry and exit points. No sanitizer at the entrance. No contract processing form for filling out. (As in any other bar and restaurant we visited, no matter how casual or how short our visit was. No denial of the table. And to finish everything, the worst I've ever had. I didn't drink it, which really says something, because even a good beer is usually at least drinkable.

"We booked a double room in the castle about a week before the time, because our other hotel had problems and had to leave. The castle is easy to reach by car, foot (but ready for a walk uphill), or shuttle bus that leads to the castle museum. The staff who welcomed us were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us get a wine cup full of ice to cool wine we had brought. The only disappointment was the room itself. If you think to stay in a castle, you see a room that seems to belong in a castle. But the room did not reflect this idea at all, except some drapes over the headboard. It was dated, Drab and made you feel like you paid for a space. It breaks the magic of a romantic castle stay. A coat of color, furniture that felt more “regal” and art that reflected the castle would go such a long way to fully enjoy the experience. However, the view from the large terrace was breathtaking. It allowed us a private area to drink wine, relax and observe the river. Dinner was nice and breakfast was generous. Be very careful when booking. I don't think they make it quite clear enough that many of the rooms are not in the castle itself, but in the building next door. You have to pay more to be in the castle. The photos of the Deluxe room use photos of castle and villa, but you need to scroll down and find the list that says deluxe rooms in castle."
