"Excellent food, just too long of a wait on a Friday night. For a solo dinner, I had to wait 40min after ordering. I believe the kitchen was lagging, because the front of the house staff was very efficient and friendly. If I had known, I would have ordered a starter or a drink. I'm used to Asian food coming out in 10min, and my expectation is anytime under half an hour. They could dim the lights to make it more cosy, and also put a sign on that goddam door, patrons waiting to be seated keep it open forever and its chilly and windy in the middle of the dinning room, quite uncomfortable. Again, the staff was nice and the food, when it arrived, was delicious. Just improve the environment and the waiting time! "Well, we had really high hopes. I 've heard so many folks talk about how great this place is and I frequent their sister Proper Meats. The photos looked great, the menu sounded amazing. We decided to splurge for our anniversary, and well, it was prettydisappointing. 1) service was lack luster. Maybe saw our server 3 times that night. She never even asked us if we wantedanother glass of wine. 2) we reserved a table outside. The weather was perfect. The concrete patio...not so much. We had a nicelittle slope to contend with which made the chairs and table wobbly. 3) Someone previously stated they were disappointed thatthey received 4 small slices of duck breast...well, we only got 2 slices (about 4 bites worth for $38) and a sad salad withit. The fish was good, portioned appropriately but nothing to brag about. Sadly, all the food needed salt. We left for anotherestablishment for drinks and dessert to celebrate. Unfortunately, due to the experience we had, we won 't be back again."

"the spicy tofu dish was not only delicious, but it looked fantastic! it was not spicy enough, but I asked for a side of chili paste and it was perfect. for an appetizer, the schishito paprika are a hit! they have a ingwer garlic seasoning rubbed on them that taste packed. the veggie miso suppe was the disappointment. it was bland and needs more taste. However, it was nice to see vegan options whether they want sushi, ramen, appetizer or a teller."

"This was an anniversary celebration which was noted when making the reservation. However, none of the staff acknowledged this special event. Our entrees were served lukewarm, and one steak was well-done despite being ordered as medium-well. The flowers on the table were beyond needing to be thrown out. While the waiter was very pleasant and efficient, his attention was almost too excessive. The pecan pie was lost in all the fruit frills added to it. The setting was charming and the food was near satisfactory. But overall, it was a disappointing evening. Most likely we will not visit again."

"Absolutely phenomenal. Wonderful, seasonal menu. Portions are perfect. Share a starter and order your own entrees (a lot of food). Enjoy these FABULOUS cocktails. We're here for the wedding day. Our service was world class, it could not have been warmer or more attentive. 10/10 would return."
