"I regret to say that I was disappointed with the quality of some of the dishes at the restaurant for the price tag . Instead of the richer, more flavorful preparation that was anticipated, the kadai paneer lacked the dish's typical qualities and appeared to be paneer in a simple gravy with raw tomatoes and onions. Never mind! The flavor is back. Think it was just a one off day... I fully recommend kadhai and all their dishes-from mataar paneer to lamb korma, everything is on point!

The Rogan Josh was great! The sauce is very creamy and rich and very different than what I'm used to but it was delicious. The masala was also good and just what you would expect.

My family and I were in downtown Bethesda and stumbled upon this place and decided to go for dinner. We had an absolutely lovely experience. We went around 6ish on a Friday and were immediately seated. The service was above and beyond our server was so attentive and kind. We loved all of the dishes that we got! We tried the garlic naan (of course), korma chicken, chicken tikka masala, the appetizer sampler (which I highly recommend it has beef kabob, samosas, and chicken and all were perfect samplers), and goat curry of some kind. I also tried the mango lassi and I loved it. Would definitely return for solid Indian food in the downtown Bethesda area!
