"I got so drunk here off three drinks! I told my Lafayette friends that I just wanted to chill in a dive and get wasted one last time before I had to get up and drive home to San Antonio. So they drove me around downtown and we settled on Legends. The Bartender knew my friends from the time he spent working at a bar called the Caboose, and had him make us something called a Hurricane Dennis! I'm not sure what it was. I've been to the Legends on Johnston St. twenty times and this joint about the same number. I gave Johnston's Legends a 5 star review due to the excellent draft beer, fabulous burgers, salads, wraps, and overall good service. I can't give Bertrand Johnston's more than 3 stars no draft beer, and if you want anything other than a burger or chicken sandwich you're out of luck. Bartenders are good and friendly, and its a good place to watch the Saints, but if you want some draft brew or some variety in your chow, I'd hit Legends on Johnston.
