"terrible customer service. we had booked a table for dinner and arrived early to have a drink at the bar. After the conclusion of our drinks we sat there for 25 minutes without being offered a drink. we then stopped to serve and asked to move on our table as it was our reservation time. we were told that it was not ready yet to return to the cash (again we did not offer a drink) we said it was about 2 minutes. 20 minutes later our table was not ready yet. When we finally sat down, we asked if it was possible to have a pizza from the lunch menu, as we could see that they were cooked and recommended in the evening. we said that this was not possible in a very rude way, although they were obvi...

pay attention to waiters who press “specialities”. they were not transparent from the cost 120 for snapper) and we were cheated that it was for a person instead of 2. I send the restaurant to inform them about our experience and they have not answered. it was disappointing to have this experience given the great reviews. I wouldn't eat here again.

I don't enjoy expensive restaurants that have a confusing and underwhelming menu. The thema seems to be farm too table, but the source of some of the items is cheesy; simply a sticker with the name of the supplier on their teller or maybe they give them my cell number so that they give me pictures of the parents frolicking on the field, or swim in the water. no burger? Now I know why my son looked unhappy and hungry. many dishes come with “hand cut” fries, a budding dosis. when do they not complete the meal? in this restaurant. hand cut, machine cut, have found that they all taste the same and is just a buck of fat kartoffels. if they do not like fish, their decisions are very quickly limite...

"If it's February at East End of Long Island, the restaurant is not on Main Street, and you still have problems finding a parking lot, you know before you get in the door something good is going in here! And at Bell Anchor everything is food, service and ambience! Open about eight years; this is really a jewel sitting along Noyack Road with access to the bay and view. We started our enjoyable experience by ordering the Hone Port Chowder and dozens of Montauk Pearl Oysters for a dollar of any special. Your Chowder really belongs to the best I enjoyed creamy, briny, tasteful and velvety. Bacon adds a subtle smoky hint to the cream. The ro homes were juicy, fresh and served with a well prepared mignonette sauce. Our entrees included the Grilled Flat Iron Steak with sauteed spinach, fries and bearnaise butter and the fish of the day, a tile fish on a bed of Edamame, and seasonal vegetables served in a Chardonnay sauce. The meal was exceptional! Our biggest compliments to the two chefs here!!! And so we just had to try their desserts. Finally we ordered the Dreamy Brownie Sunday and Mandel Cake with Marscapone Cream. Then we drove to our car! In fact, this is a great restaurant to enjoy. Fortunately, they are open all year round and take reservations in high season. So if you have time to explore the eastern end before the commemorative day, put Bell Anchor in your GPS. Spend a wonderful day in Southampton and Sag Harbor, go around Trout Pond and cross the street to this beautiful restaurant. If you are lucky, Anne will be your server and take care of you!"
