"I absolutely adore this restaurant. It may not be the most upscale spot in town (it has a more rustic vibe), but when it comes to a local BBQ joint with delicious food and friendly staff, it's unbeatable. Over time, I have formed a close relationship with the owners and servers, making it feel like a welcoming home away from home. The pulled pork and beef are exceptional, and the menu offers a great variety of options. However, the standout feature is the impeccable service. They already have my iced tea ready before I even step inside, and they always remember whether I prefer beef or pork. I usually visit on weekends, especially during football season, and I must commend Ingrid for her ex...

Don't miss out on the cornbread and the amazing sweet potato chips; they are must-haves. I'm sure the Mississippi Mud Pie would also be on this list, but I got mine to go. I also want to give a shoutout to the great service provided by Edie.

This restaurant is a great spot for delicious food, especially if you're in the mood for wings or cornbread. The staff can be a bit rude and slow, and the cleanliness could use some improvement, but overall the food is fantastic. A hidden gem for satisfying your cravings. Food: 5/5

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
