I love the enchiladas oaxaceñas. The mole sauce is the best I’ve had in the northeast. The tortilla soup and aqua frescas are delicious. Everyone working here is very nice. I’ve been here many times and it is always consistent and never disappointing :

We love Monte Alban! We order here almost every week. Try the nacho supreme with chicken, it’s one of our favorites! We also love their tamales. For something more filling order a dish with shrimp and steak together. Support our local Hartford businesses!

Although the restaurant is a hole in the wall, the food was fresh, tasty and generous. The service was quick and friendly. I went on an early weekend night and had no problem finding a table, but at the time I left, all the tables were full and the people were waiting for place. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu!
