"Okay. Let’s leave off the distractions like misspelled words in the menu and undertrained waitstaff that other reviewers complained about and talk about the FOOD which is AMAZING. Fresh pasta made in house? Yup. Farm fresh kale and pomegranate and squash and corn? Yup. House made potato chips to die for? Yup. Pet-friendly patio and indoor booth seating? Yup. Temple coffee served in a French press? A thousand times yes. They even have gluten free and vegan options. Do yourself a favor and go for dinner. Try their seasonal pumpkin cake, it’s so delicious. And then go back for lunch. I’ll probably see you there :"

This place has potential. The food was good, my spaghetti bolognese was tasty and made with fresh pasta but at $25, seemed a little expensive. Ambiance is nice and atmosphere casual. Our waiter certainly could use some better training. His response to a question about a few of the dishes was I have no idea . Really?

Pretty underwhelming. My scallops were cooked beautifully, the sides were bland. The beet salad was nice. My husband asked to be surprised and the waiter chose the porkchop which was overcooked and when my husband told him the waiter replied oh well at least you enjoyed some of it. So maybe we will try brunch sometime but not in a hurry to go back for dinner.

Lovely waitess, pleasant dessert, very nice side salad. That said, mostly nothing special about the food, especially for the price. Soup was under seasoned and quite bland, trying to be overwhelming with two beef patties on the burger was unappealing and lacking the grilled taste expected in a great burger, it was more like smooshy meatloaf. While I don't doubt the excellent quality of the offerings here, the end product is just not engaging enough to entice a return visit. Nice setting, nice folks, wish you well, need to consider upping the ante on taste.

"I made reservations for 6 for my mother in laws birthday dinner . The hostess greeted us, and took us to our table right away . All tables have white cloth covers I even seen a young man, Ironing one of them with a cordless iron. I have to say this is definitely fine dining . This restaurant is considered French /American . As soon as you walk in, there's is also a nice bar area on your left side . The ambiance is romantic and elegant. Our waiter was okay but, a young man name Nick was brining the plates and anything we needed he was helping the waiter I believe a busboy ? But he was more then that !! He was very attentive got us refills he also talked to us about desserts and made our experience very memorable. Thank Nick !! We started off ordering drinks they have a pretty cool cocktails menu with unique drinks (That's my Jam )was my favorite drink I have to say we tried a few all delicious! My mother in law got red wine they have a huge selection of wines to choose from . For food we started off with the purée of white corn soup and white dog farm salad both super delicious!! My two sons came with us which are ten and seven the waiter informed us they have three items that are not listed on the menu for children which are chicken tenders, kids gnocchi , and a kids burger . My seven year old got the kids potato gnocchi I tried it so good . My ten year old got the adult wagyu burger with fries he loves it . Hubby got the duck confit my other two guest both got the chicken pitman chicken farms which had mole in the chicken let's just say everyone loves their food . I got the short rib plate wow !! so tender just melts in your mouth ! For dessert we shared the beignets, lemon blueberry tart, and the chocolate soufflé that came with a candle and also written on the place with chocolate was Happy Birthday such a nice touch for her birthday she loves it ! Overall this was a wonderful experience definitely a restaurant to celebrate something special events . Very elegant nice fine dinning . They also have a beautiful patio we seen people eating at later on when the heat cooled down . Highly recommend Hawks ! Can't wait to come back and try more dishes. It seems like they change their menu quite often."
