"The arrangement of the dish was very similar to the Japanese style. However, as for the tonkatsu, the batter of the tonkatsu was too thin to provide a crispy texture. The tonkatsu that was initially served was still pink in color and the meat was not cooked/heated enough. I requested that it be fried again. The cabbage that was served was cut too thin and had no texture. Their original sauce could have been a little thicker to go with the tonkatsu. The potato salad did not feel homemade.From the above, I prefer/recommend Katsuhama on the East Side."

Stopped by for lunch. The first warning sign was that it was nearly empty. The pork cutlet came out cold and soggy. Very disappointing.

Did take out for pork loin but the meat was a little undercooked and rather tough. They packaged the sauces carefully but I guess for pork katsu it’s best to dine in next time.The Katy’s itself is $34, plus rice is additional $3, plus soup and rice would be $10.
