"Lovely little spot, not far from the Benjamin Franklin Bridge pedestrian walkway. Sidewalk and bar seating. Wide open barn doors let's in a nice breeze. Plenty of beers to pick from, some very fancy and imported go try them! especially the California Russian River brews). Food was standard bar food but they where very accommodating and the wait staff super friendly! Highly recommended!? Traducido por Google) Pequeño y encantador lugar, no lejos de la pasarela peatonal del puente Benjamin Franklin. Asientos en la acera y en la barra. Las puertas de granero abiertas de par en par nos permiten entrar en una agradable brisa. Un montón de cervezas para elegir, algunas muy elegantes e importadas...

Got into town a bit late originally attempted South Street but quickly detoured to this perfect spot it was exactly what we, as weary travelers, needed. Warm atmosphere. Great music. Attentive service. Delicious food. Cold drinks. They even had vegetarian options. Total perfection.

Employees make or break your establishment! Mark the bartender is awesome. I'm a visitor to Philadelphia and was hungry and tired when I washed up on the doorstep. I'm a 61 y/o woman looking for some takeout dinner and a couple of cocktails before retiring. This was just the perfect place. Unpretentious, but they obviously have standards so I never felt the least bit uncomfortable. I highly recommend!

Went for lunch today Sat) and it was just okay. We got the calamari appetizer, and it was lackluster and small for the price $15). The pieces were very thin and pretty rubbery. The batter was salty, but I liked it that way. I wouldn?t order it again. I got the tortellini and it was alright, the garlic bread was better than the pasta. My boyfriend got the burger special. The sausage wasn?t really incorporated well and was just kinda chunky. It was decent just for a quick bite, but I wouldn?t return.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
