Nestled near the Saluda River, this jewel of a restaurant, the Saluda River Grill. Steaks, burgers, chicken and other hearty tariffs are offered. Whether you're a local or a tired traveler, like me, who just threw into town, this food will meet the place. My picks were the Fried Green Tomatoes and Southern Chicken, black, with garlic potatoes and steamed broccoli. I highly recommend it!

Good food and service for a very fair price. My wife and I had a beer with our delicious steak, Cesar Salat and loaded baked potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked and there was enough for a dog bag. Everything for less than 40 totals made for a pleasant dinner date. If you haven't been there, I'm suggesting trying. We used to be there and took friends and family. We enjoyed lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Everyone finds something to his taste and was impressed by the clean, casual atmosphere, menu, food drinks.

This was my first time here and it will definitely not be my last! The building is beautiful inside, with the exposed beams and the (what seems) original floors. Our server was fabulous! She welcomed and served us as a friend and not just as a guest. She kept our drinks filled and didn't rush us out and encouraged our conversation. I was with three other friends and our food was also wonderful. We had the 8 ounces of Sirloin, Cheeseburger, crushed chicken and salmon. All were well portioned and well cooked. I had a loaded sweet potato and it was the BEST I ever had literally! The combination of the amount of butter and cinnamon made the interior of the sweet potato creamy....it was DELICIOUS...
