Popped in for lunch. Waited about 10 mins for a fresh Shrimp Po?boy. Light, flavorful and filling. Perfect little spot. Had a small bar so guessing evenings are busy. I rather liked the quietness of a late lunch. Would definitely be back

I moved to the RVA from the Dirty South almost a year ago and cooking soul food is in my blood. I've tried several of the areas soul food restaurants found them all to be overpriced and the flavor underwhelming. Shrimp's was delicious! Everything was perfectly seasoned and fairly priced. Staff was also pleasant. I will definitely be back!
