"This was our first time and last time going to Taipei 101. I made a reservation for a party of 5 with open table, upon checking in with the hostess she said their internet connection is slow and they don't check for online reservations. Very surprised to see how empty the place was and that you sit down yourself. Eating was okay, very small portions. Not sure we're going back.

The food has real promise. The apps were amazing, and the short ribs were quite tasty. Unfortunately the service was anything but. It took more than an hour from when we ordered for our entrees to arrive. The waitress would disappear from the floor for 15 minutes at a time, and didn't check back without being flagged down. Even getting the check at the end of our evening took 20 minutes. If you have 2 1/2 hours for dinner, it is worth checking out.
