"It has been a while since I last dined at Taqueria Santa Cruz. I graduated from Cal Poly in 2016, so returning to this location was a new experience for me. My usual order has always been the chimichanga, and this visit was no exception. I also got myself a horchata, as I usually do. Although the chimichanga is now priced the same as the Super burrito (unlike before), it still tastes just as delicious as it did years ago. While the value may not be as strong as it once was, I still consider it the best chimichanga in its price range, which is saying something. I was blown away by the amazing authentic Mexican food at this restaurant. Coming from Washington, we don't have anything like this. The prices were reasonable, the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place - they did an excellent job. Thank you so much!

I wouldn't want to share these delicious burritos from Santa Cruz Taqueria Express. If I had the ability to make burritos this good, I would keep them all to myself. Despite what Christopher McCandless said in Into the Wild about happiness being real when shared, I'd rather be selfish with these amazing burritos. Maybe that's why I never learned how to make them myself. Santa Cruz Taqueria Express understands the power and responsibility of sharing happiness through their food, and I'm grateful for that.
