"Many reviews are giving mixed signals this wasn't necessarily the best waitstaff experience I've ever had but it was good! And the FOOD! Also great vibes/atmosphere/decorations. It gives a good mood to the meal. Went on a Monday morning and we're worried about time but people were still being sat at 10:15 and we felt comfortable munching away after 10:30 while finishing our food. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, and I simply cannot get over the meal. The French toast with the lemon butter with the berry bowl was absolutely the meal of our trip in PGH. Highly recommend!"

My first visit to the Commoner was not good. The food was not tasty lacking seasoning. My order came out but my son ordered took 20 minutes to come out. The manager said that my son order did not go in at the same time. Such a disappointing response by the manager. That did not make sense. I do not recommend this restaurant.
