"We held a retirement lunch here for a coworker. I heard mixed reviews from the other diners in regards to food. The menu was pre-planned by the owner. Everyone got the same salad and it had blue cheese on it and came with balsamic vinagarette dressing, neither of which was a favorite of a lot of the diners. Perhaps the dressing could have been on the side. A common complaint was that the vegetables were not hot. However, my meal was very good. Vegetarian options: I informed the restaurant ahead of time that I am a plant based eater and the chef made a wonderful Thai Noodle with peanut sauce entree. I appreciated the consideration. But, on the whole, this is an upscale southern comfort food...
