"We dined here as a group of 10. The layout is relaxing and the interior decor is classic Bavarian. The staff were very helpful and spoke English fluently. Each of us ordered differently from the a la carte menu which can sometimes present a timing challenge to the kitchen. Each course came out together and no one was left waiting. The food itself was tasty and fresh. Our choices covered everything from schnitzel to steak to fish. The restaurant also offers set menus with without wine pairings as well. Overall a nice restaurant and one that I would go back to. Don’t despair that their website in in German only. The staff are multilingual as are the menus."

We just stopped here for a drink on the way back from a meal in the centre of the city. It's a lovely place to have a drink with the decor oozing quality and nice touches like fresh flower arrangements. We were warmly welcomed despite the fact we were only looking for a couple of beers (ended up having a couple more). Staff all very friendly. The food we saw looked great and we kind of wished we had eaten here. Will definitely make it our first call for dinner when we return to Munich.

"my man and I were in a few for a family birthday party. we had some time for us and took public transportation to visit schloss nymphenburg, which was a wonderful excursion also on a windy, wintery afternoon. not quite ready to return to the house...we googled Italian restaurants near me. the one we visited first did not take any plastic. the second location was solo italia. it was a Friday night and the place jumped around 19 o'clock. we didn't even think we were making a reservation, and everyone was taken table. no problem, we could order the cash. it followed several hours of relaxation, delicious eating, weeping and atmosphere. we ordered the green salads that are large, fresh, and most welcome after days very little green on our tellers. pasta bolognese and spaghetti carbonara were excellent. we did not try out the pizzas, although they looked fantastic (and they produced, kept all waiting workers and our bar-tenders very busy to mante the many.) solo italia is a place that prices were much less than the fancier sites round, but the quality of the food was comparable. it was simply a funny, bouncing place. a scream from our barkeeper maurice d. he was very busy with the drinks orders, the semi-trailer pizza and in the regular good work. he still managed to be polite and attentive that we were sitting on his bar. very professional and personal. if they are on the look for a great Italian place outside the Munich city center (but easily reached by tram 25) try solo italia, they have a great time!"
