"I recently dined at a well-known restaurant that typically receives high praise, but was disappointed with my experience at Frank's Outback. I ordered marinated salmon and Chinese-style sweet, but what I received was a dry salmon finger and overcooked, mushy broccoli. My wife ordered fried oysters, which were tough and did not taste like oysters should. The service was lacking as well, with loud young patrons nearby who appeared to be intoxicated. The staff did not seem to discourage their disruptive behavior, likely in hopes of receiving a generous tip. Overall, I found the restaurant to be overrated and will not be returning in the future."

The best restaurant in Pawleys Island. The food is exceptional, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. It's a favorite among locals and always bustling. Make sure to book reservations in advance. There are multiple bar areas to relax in. Their small plate specials are a must-try. Overall, it's a great place for a dine-in dinner experience. Expect to spend $50-100 per person.

Frank's is a slightly upscale restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere that fits in well with the Pawleys Island community. The drinks are expertly crafted and the menu offers a variety of delicious options to suit any mood or preference. The filet was cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. The lamb chops were also cooked to perfection. The beef short rib was tasty and satisfying, and the jumbo lump crab cake was the best I've had outside of Maryland. We all enjoyed the coastal fried oyster appetizer. To finish off our meal, we shared a large slice of 14-layer caramel cake with caramel drizzle and vanilla ice cream.
